About Sundowner Cruises
The 2-hour Sundowner sunset cruise includes a glass of sparkling wine (or soft drink) on arrival, and our shared platter of nibbles served during the cruise.
Sundowner Cruises operates from Airlie Beach, where the Whitsunday islands provide the perfect back drop for our sunset cruises and variety of other cruises Sundowner has to offer.
When our guests arrive on board to when they depart they have experienced quite a different cruise. From the ambiance from light to dark and seeing the lights of Airlie Beach to the social aspect of meeting new people and sharing experiences.
Our philosophy at Sundowner is about providing a great product, fantastic service in a friendly social atmosphere that gets your holiday off to a great start and that allows you to truly unwind and bask in a fantastic Whitsunday sunset whilst enjoying your favourite tipple from our fully licensed bar (no BYO).
Sundowner departs from Coral Sea Marina North, which is a short walk from the main street of Airlie Beach along the boardwalk.
Meeting time is 15 minutes prior to departure at the North Village roundabout, 'Meeting Point B', at Coral Sea Marina, near The Kiosk Cafe and Sorrento's.
Kids Tickets:
- Children (aged 3-17) $45.
- Infants (0-2) Free. All infants must be counted, so please remember to book a ticket for them.
From 17 December 2021 to 13 April 2022:
Sundowner is subject to the new QLD Government regulations prohibiting unvaccinated travellers from taking part in leisure tour activities. You will be required to show your proof of vaccination to a staff member on arrival or you will not be able to participate. This mandate applies to all people 16 years and over. No refunds will apply. Please be courteous to our staff as they are just following the law as imposed on us.
From 14 April 2022:
Guests will no longer be required to be vaccinated or to check in when boarding Sundowner.
