Schedule and Flight
Meet us before first light at Mansfield Coffee Merchant to fly in perfect conditions around sunrise. Your expert crew will provide you with informative details throughout and invite you to participate in the inflation and deflation process if you wish.
There is a short drive to the launch field, where it takes about thirty minutes to inflate your balloon, and once ready, you'll be invited to climb aboard. We give a full passenger safety briefing before take-off, and the experience is safe, friendly, and professional. The ground crew follows and meets the balloon at its landing. The balloon is quickly packed at the landing, and your crew will drive you back to Mansfield Coffee Merchant. The complete activity lasts between 3 and 4 hours and is suitable for ages 6 to 96.
Breakfast
After the flight, we complete your experience with a delicious Prosecco Breakfast (optional and highly recommended) back at Mansfield Coffee Merchant, a local institution that is deliciously up with the best cafes Melbourne has to offer.
Meeting Details
The meeting time varies with the sunrise time throughout the year and is usually around 30 minutes before first light. On the morning of your flight, we meet at Mansfield Coffee Merchant, 23 Highett Street, Mansfield, Victoria 3722, just up from the Delatite Hotel. Your Duty Pilot will call between 6 - 7 pm the night before to confirm arrangements for the morning. All these details will be sent in your flight booking confirmation email.

Breakfast: $30 for flying guests and $30 for non-flying guests
Payment is accepted by Bank Transfer, Visa or Mastercard. Credit card payment attracts a 1% surcharge

We also offer Boutique Exclusive Flights for one guest and up, where just you and your partner or group are onboard exclusively.
Rescheduling or Refunding
The Mansfield Flight can be rescheduled or refunded if the weather is unsuitable for flying on the morning of your flight. Also, you can reschedule your flight with at least 7 days' notice if you need to. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for full details.
Getting to Mansfield
Mansfield is a 2 and ¼ hour drive from Melbourne . Take the exit off the M3 Eastern Freeway at Ringwood and travel State Route 62 to Yarra Glen, and follow the B300 all the way to Mansfield. Alternatively, from Metropolitan Ring Road at Bundoora, take State Route 27 & C727 northbound to Whittlesea, turn right onto the C725 to Yea, and finally join the B300 to Mansfield. Google Maps shows other routes depending on where you are travelling.
