Our Glass House Mountains Private Tour will have you in awe as we wind our way through this magnificent and unique landscape. You will have the best of both worlds with our experienced local guide taking you to the best viewing locations of the Glass House Mountains from near and afar, including a small nature walk into the Glass House Mountains National Park to get a close view at the biggest. A delicious dine-in lunch and drink at a lookout cafe is included. We also explore the most picturesque part of Maleny with a nature walk through old growth forest with giant trees and wildlife.
To further compliment this tour, we provide you with an experienced local guide and door to door pick-ups in a luxury vehicle with reclining seats and a USB port for each seat to charge your phones and cameras along the way.

ITINERARY Our day begins with a nice country drive as we make our way to the biggest of the Glass House Mountains, Mt Beerwah. On our bus journey there we will wind our way through various other spectacular Glass House Mountains. You will be guided on a short walk into the Glass House Mountains National Park to a striking viewing area of Mt Beerwah, the biggest of all the Glass House Mountains. Another scenic drive through forest and farms will offer us incredible views of Mt Coonowrin and Mt Beerwah, then land us at a lookout with a historic fire tower and views of all the many peaks of the Glass House Mountains and beyond. A delicious lunch with a drink is included on this tour at a wonderful lookout cafe with a beautiful landscape view. Here you also have an opportunity to buy a souvenir if you wish. After lunch we head back into the Glass House Mountains National Park to the best viewing location of Mt Tibrogargan and another little mountain we'll keep as a surprise. We will then wind our way between more of the Glass House Mountains towards the town called Glass House Mountains where you can explore and maybe buy a souvenir or some local relish . Next we visit an ancient cultural site, with evidence of activities from long ago by the local aboriginal and the early settlers. Another scenic drive will land us in the most picturesque part of Maleny with some of the best views of the Glass House Mountains and we take you on a guided walk through ancient old-growth forest with giant trees and plenty of wildlife. We will then make our way home back down the mountain and have you back at you accommodation no later than 5pm.

NOOSA & SUNSHINE COAST Pick-ups and Drop-offs
Joel’s Journeys will pick-up and drop-off customers at their home or accommodation in the Noosa and Sunshine Coast regions, including the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Please ensure you provide your pick-up address when you make the booking. Pick ups outside of the above locations may incur a surcharge.

BRISBANE Pick-ups and Drop-offs
Joel’s Journeys will pick-up and drop-off customers at their home or accommodation in the Brisbane CBD or anywhere between the Brisbane CBD and Sunshine Coast for an additional $300 per booking . Please ensure you select the 'BRISBANE PICK-UP' option and provide your pick-up address when you make the booking. Brisbane Airport drop-offs are also an option for guests picked up from Brisbane. Pick ups in Brisbane outside of the above locations may incur an additional surcharge.

Sunshine Coast Airport Drop-off Available
Make the most of your departure day and be dropped-off at the Sunshine Coast Airport after your private tour for no extra cost. We have plenty of luggage room on the bus to stow your bags for the duration of the tour or transfer. Ensure you select the appropriate airport transfer checkbox option when you make your tour or transfer booking.

Luxury Vehicle for Passenger Loads of 11 or Less
Groups of 11 or less will be chauffeured around in comfort in our luxury 12-seater vehicle. Our bus is equipped with reclining seats and a USB port for each seat to recharge your phones and cameras throughout a day. The vehicle has a fridge running throughout the day to keep cool any cold produce you purchase.
Passenger Loads of 12 or More

Passenger loads of 12 or more guests are subject to the availability of a larger bus, which will be different to the 12-seater bus described above. Please provide us with as much notice as possible for group bookings of 12 to 24 guests.
