The best thing about Rottnest Island Diving & Scuba Diving in Perth, are the Fantastic dive sites that are located so close to our Perth City. Fremantle is the main Port of Perth City & Western Australia. This makes Fremantle the best place to jump on a boat and head over to Scuba Dive Rottnest Island.

Rottnest Island is a limestone rock based Island, being of a soft porous composition. This soft rock coupled with the open Indian ocean currents, have created deep crevices, caverns and huge swim thru's like you have never seen before. The soft corals are amazing, the fish life is truly diverse and the exploratory nature of the maze of caves, just sensational.

Full day tour that includes a boat trip across to Rottnest Island and guided snorkels. Learn the basics of your Yamaha Sea Scooter, then head out for an adventure exploring the protected reefs within Rottnest Islands beautiful turquoise bays. Subject to suitable conditions we have the option of a snorkel at The Elizabeth Wreck Trail or the Western Grey Nurse Cave.

Expect to see a variety of marine life including fish, corals, perhaps even turtles and sea lions. You may even be fortunate and get the opportunity to scooter with dolphins. This is a boat and water based tour suitable for 12 year old and above who are comfortable with mask, snorkel, fins and the possibility of some deeper reefs.

All visitors entering the Rottnest Island Reserve, including the marine reserve, are required to pay an admission fee as a contribution to the conservation of the Island and the provision and upkeep of facilities. Blue Destiny pay the waters admission fee on your behalf and this is included in the price of your day trip. If you wish to be dropped on the island there is an additional landing admission fee payable to the Rottnest Island Authority.

Rottnest Island Pick-up and Drop-off Would you like to explore Rottnest Island after your dive day on board Blue Destiny? We can drop you at Rottnest Island after your day of snorkelling on board. Staying on Rottnest? We can pick you up from Rottnest Island for your boat day trip and return you to Fremantle after your day is complete. Please note, this option DOES NOT include accommodation or ferry transfers.

Would you like your own personal Snorkel Guide? Blue Destiny's guides are experienced and certified PADI Professional Divemasters and Instructors. Our Snorkel Guides will meet you at the boat departure point, introduce themselves and then give you a brief outline of the day’s proceedings. They then allocate your snorkelling equipment (if you are using our equipment) and position on the boat for the day. At the snorkel site, after a briefing, the guide will assist you in kitting up and assist you into the water. The guide will show you around, navigate back to the vessel and assist you out of the water. Once you are back onboard the guide will then go over the things you saw explaining anything that you may not know or identifying things you may not have seen before. Add a Snorkel Guide to your booking (found under Extras) if you would prefer a Guide for your Rottnest Island diving.
