Description:
The Yarra Valley has an abundance of hidden treasures and this full-day tour is a showcase of some of our favourites! Sample a variety of locally produced specialities at four venues throughout the valley including winery lunch.
Yarra Valley pickups between 9.30am-10.30am.
1. Start the day with cheese tastings at the Yarra Valley Dairy. Sample a range of cheeses made on-site with time to purchase a coffee or glass of wine.
2. wine tastings at Historic Yering Station. Sample a wide range of wines- everything from bubbles to sweet at the home of the Victoria's first vineyard.
3. “Champagne Brunch” at Chandon, the queen of sparkling wine in Australia! Indulge in a range tasting with three sparkling wines of your choice plus oysters or charcuterie platters and the best view in the valley! Learn about the history of champagne and the process of Méthode Traditionnelle sparkling wines.
4. Free time for lunch in Healesville village. Healesville is a postcard pretty township in the heart of the Yarra Valley with more gourmet delights than your grandmothers pantry! Visit Four Pillars Gin, Innocent Bystander winery, Matilda Bay brewery, Cheesemonger Sophie or one of the many cafes, candy store or local burger joints all within a stone’s throw of each other
5. Finish the day with wine and cider tastings at Yering Farm wines. Local wine maker Alan Johns and son Ronan produce small batch wines in their boutique winery with trusty wine dog Roy by their side. Rustic charm with luscious wines and refreshing cider to finish the day.
Drop off in the valley between 4-5pm
After your tour, we’ll drive you back to your accommodation to make sure you get home safe and sound.
This itinerary is subject to change on rare occasions when regular venues are unavailable, in which case we will find a similar venue and experience to substitute.
