Your action packed surf session starts with a quick safety briefing from an experienced instructor followed by a quick change into your wetsuit. Once you've squeezed into the wetsuit provided you'll be issued with your board ready to take on the waves.
After mastering the basics and nailing your boarding technique on dry land your instructor will let you loose in the water to put what you've learned into practice. At first you'll start out in shallow water to build your confidence but before long you'll be ready to tame the waves and race across the water.

Participant guidelines
Minimum age varies across the country between 7-8. Surfers will need to sign a fitness declaration before being able to take part.
General availability
Surfing lessons are available Saturdays and Sundays usually from May to October. Please check specific location details for full available dates.
Weather
Surfing will go ahead in most conditions.
What to wear
Don't forget to bring a swimming costume, towel, waterproof sunblock, sunglasses and warm clothing. All necessary surfing equipment will be supplied.
Duration
Lesson lasts for around two hours from around 9.30am. A break for lunch, and then the whole afternoon spent putting your new skills to use.
Number of people
Numbers on the day do vary but you will be split into groups on arrival. Instructors are able to take up to 10 ppl at 1 time.
Spectators
Spectators are welcome to watch you from the beach. You may even provide them with some entertainment.

This can be extended, under certain circumstances, for a small handling fee as long as the vouchers have not expired.
